Shipping & Returns



Shipping Policy


Boatforce will make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST may be shipped the following the business day. If your order cannot be shipped within 24 hours you will be contacted by Boatforce via email and/or phone. Depending on the situation your order may be put on hold until we hear back from you. It will be your responsibility to contact us in order to facilitate the processing of your order.

If your order is time sensitive it is your responsibility to contact us to verify that your order can be processed and delivered in the time frame you require. Boatforce will not refund shipping costs associated with a time sensitive order should it not meet your deadline. As long as you verify delivery with us this should never be an issue.

Boatforce offers free ground shipping on orders over $150.00 in product value. Orders under $150.00 in product value qualify for a $15.00 flat rate via ground shipping. Free and flat rate shipping offers apply only to orders being shipped with the 48 contiguous states. Almost every product we offer qualifies for free or flat rate shipping, however we do reserve the right to assess actual shipping charges to particular items. Specifically, oversized items such as liferafts, large anchors, spools of rope, and special order items are excluded.

Not all items on our site are stocked in our facility. Many are shipped directly from the manufacturer or an authorized distributor and may arrive separately. All orders are reviewed before final processing and shipment, so if shipping charges will be higher than noted at checkout you will be notified for final approval. Your order will not ship until we receive your approval.
If you are on a cutter, have limited access to phone/email, or otherwise wish to waive your right for final approval of charges please note in the order comments. We will then ship your order ASAP and charge you for actual shipping costs and any other fees related to the processing and shipment of your order (ie. dropship fee or expedited shipping costs).


Returns

All products on our site are specified by or meet the specifications required by a particular USCG outfit list. Thus, returns should not be much of an issue. In the event you do receive damaged or faulty product(s) please contact us immediately as this will facilitate our resolving your issue in a more timely manner. Please contact us via phone, the Contact Us page, or orders@boatforce.us.

All special order items are non returnable and non refundable. Once the order is placed with the distributor or manufacturer the sale is considered final. Shipping charges will be refunded if the item has not been shipped.



Damaged Products

Should any part of your order arrive damaged please contact us immediately. You will need to keep any and all packing material associated with the shipment as a claim will need to be made with the carrier. If you discard any of the packaging the claim will most likely not be honored by the carrier and we will not be able to refund you for the damaged product(s). You will then be responsible for the cost of the original and replacement product(s).

In most cases we will ship you out a replacement, assuming one is available, while the claim is being resolved. Should the claim not be resolved in our favor due to the aforementioned terms not being followed you will be charged for both the original and replacement product(s) shipped to you.

The moral of the story is to inspect all items thoroughly before doing anything else and keep everything. Do this and we can take care of you and all will be well. Please contact us via phone, the Contact Us page, or orders@boatforce.us



Faulty Products

Boatforce has a 30 day return policy for most items, special order items being the exception. After 30 days you will need to go through the manufacturer which is a much longer and much more frustrating process, so please try to inspect all items upon delivery to the best of your ability. In the event you cannot not determine whether or not the item is faulty upon delivery our policy will stand as previously stated.

You will need a RA number before returning any products. This can be obtained via email, using the Contact Us page or orders@boatforc.us. Please note your order number and specific details as to the nature of the issue.
